Senior Thesis: the yearlong degree project Film synopsis: Blob + Tail = Goldfish This is my Senior Degree Project (Thesis) done at the Rhode Island School of Design. “Wall Pets” is 2-D hand drawn animation, that was “colored” through Photoshop. In order to digitally emulate the watercolor look, I colored one frame with much more care, and then simply copy-pasted, Wanting the sound design to be simple, I did the sound design using the Sound Effects CD from the school library. So far, “Wall Pets” was accepted to the following competitions and festivals for the year of 2009: Accolade Competition; Animazing! Spotlights; Animation Block Party (ABP); Bulldog Student Film Festival (”Judges Award”); Chinh India Kids Film Festival. And for 2010: Boston Underground Film Festival (BUFF) |

It was an animation based on a Haiku. The animation process involved paper puppets, AND acetate sheets that were punctured with a sewing machine– in order to simulate rain. |
